How we review books and other things we love
We enjoy sharing when we find things we love. You will find book reviews, discussions about computer hardware and other products that we’ve found and enjoyed popping up on these pages. We wanted to take a minute to explain how we review things and why we do it this way.
Focusing on the good and the great
First things first, we are only going to spend our time writing about things we enjoy. That means first and foremost, you are not likely to find negative reviews here. We are not going to say a negative review won’t happen, but if one does, you can bet it will be under special circumstances.
Rather than wasting our time (and yours), we will focus on finding new things that are interesting and serve a positive purpose in our lives. It is hard to argue that there is more than enough negativity floating around, we will do our best to avoid contributing more.
About the books…
Reading is a thing we’re passionate about here at Cubert Nine. We review books to share the ones we enjoy and supporting the authors that create them is a focus of the Cubert Nine blog. The Kindle Unlimited program has provided an avenue for a new generation of authors to share amazing content. The platform has allowed material that would have been rejected by the big publishers to find the light of day and an audience that appreciates it.
We love the variety of material being produced on the Kindle platform and we will share the wonderful imaginings of the authors we enjoy. If you have suggestions, we’re all ears! Please post a comment or tweet @cubertnine to share what you’ve been reading, especially if it is by an indie author that could use some additional word-of-mouth support.
And now the tech stuff
For those that don’t know, we each started our professional careers in the IT Consulting field. Over the years, we’ve developed a unique perspective through trial and error. We love to share the things we come across that work well and our lessons learned. Occasionally, we’ll review a laptop or some other gadget we found interesting. Expect to hear the positive things about that device, but don’t expect us to do a teardown or to provide detailed analytics. There are plenty of reviewers providing that kind of data. We’ll focus on our real-world experience with the device instead.
Comments and Feedback
This is a relatively new adventure for us here at Cubert Nine. We would love to hear from everyone that stumbles across our new home. Your input energizes us, so please, take a second and leave a note.
